Kick panel is by your foot when sitting in the car.
Clear Coat is clear coat. Some manufacturers say not to use any other clear coat but their own because it will cause dripping but I've never had a problem with it. Follow these steps with painting and you'll be as good as gold....

You've already read over that post but follow those steps. After you put enough clear coat on anything you can clean it with a brillow pad and it'll still buff right out :) But don't do that 'cause that's bad. Use some kind of non-harsh cleaner like furniture cleaner/polish Clean terry cloth only. Windex works too but I don't know how bad that stuff is for paint since some Windex has a bunch of mean chemicals in it.

I would get a quick detailer spray to clean painted pieces with. You can dust it with a damp microfiber towel and it shouldn't get scratched up. I wouldn't use Armor All on paint. Dash vinyl is okay but a painted surface should be treated like paint. Quick detailer sprays are available in the auto supply isle at Walmart, etc. or at the auto parts stores. They contain a mild detergent and many have a little bit of wax suspended in them to protect painted surfaces.

No, armorall is bad for your dash. Any kind of dash. Find me a car that's used armorall for 10 years and I'll show you a 10 year old car with a cracked dash
