New turbo and fmic= new problems

After a 3 week build I finally got the car back on the road today, we installed a punishment racing fmic and a evo3 16g. When we took it for a drive it wouldn't go over 4k rpm under load without sputtering and hesitating. 4 boost leaks have been done and all boost leaks fixed. I'm only running 14lbs of boost untill I get ecmlink done and injectors/fuel pump are installed. Any ideas on what would make it sputter?

yea first sounds like def. boost leak

if you are sure you fixed it, make sure you are not misfiring. what plugs and wires and gap?

also you are limited as you have stock fuel, you maybe cutting out.

I have not yet hit a fuel cut, yet. After my first one I will never forget the feeling. Ill go back through and do a soapy water boost leak test here soon. Im running ngk 6s with a .28 gap. But ill go back out later and check to see if the gap might have changed since I put them in.

You may want to check for any CELs as well.

Boost leaks. Some are tricky, you're almost guaranteed to have a few especially after a FMIC install.

Use hair spray.

haha good idea on the hair spray. No cel's are popping up at all. No check engine light. Ill check it soon and ill keep you guys updated.
