2G New to owning

I have a brief build on my profile. Just got the car its been in a friends family for years as a side project i got it fully built and running and driving. Just wondering now what are some common things i should look for. I know the cars history mostly every vacuum line and fuel line has been changed, a lot of parts too many to name. Car was takin care of but this is my first dsm. Had a few 600hp e46s and mostly faster higher hp rwd cars. Any help on what i should be looking into as far as reliability goes? Ive done some research on a t4 manifold swap and all and may be going that route soon to have more turbo options.

Welcome. Nice looking car. You will find lots of great info here. If the timing belt and water pump are old, I would start there. Then do your basic maintenance fluids, plugs etc. in never hurts to start off fresh and you may find other issues along the way.
