new manifold vs flange

Just finished a complete engine build, forge internals, my old td05 turbo is toast, seals gone smokes like spyhunter. Have a DNA t-3 63AR. Issue, after weeks of waiting for the td05 to t3 flange it is too big, not enough clearence to mount the turbo with the 2 inch flange. SO, I am thinking about a new manifold but any I find have 35 to 38 mm wg 2 bolt flanges and I am running a hks 40mm 4 bolt. is there an adapter that will work or do I need to get a different wg? OR is there a td05 to t3 flange available that isn't 2 to 3 inches thick?

I'm not sure about anything on the market but have you thought about going to a local machine shop to see if they will make you one? If you can take measurements and draw out what you need I'm sure they'll make one for you.

What's getting in the way? Water pipe, block, fans/ radiator? If its the water pipe you can dent the thing in. It's pretty common. If its the block I believe they have spacers for the manifold to be pushed away from the block. Fans/ radiator might have to go slim style. Again idk what your exact issue is but might help.

HRC used to sell them with their kits. I'm sure you could make one with a T3 flange and a die grinder. Also, I would just sell the wastegate and get one that would bolt on. All these adapters are just more opportunities to leak IMHO.

Thanks, I am still getting used to the site or I would have responded sooner. I customized the flange. 6degrees away from block and all is fine. Bolts are a pain to get to for adjustments but it is up and running. Again, thanks for your input.
