new MAFT + intake is giving me lag

hey guys, well i just installed my maft, and kept everything to zero, and installed a new intake, well just a crappy one, muffler shop bent, but i used to have the proper k & n filter for the 1g now i have the smaller cone one, but anyway, the maft seemed to have given me better throttle response, but it seems to slow down my spool time... any suggestions on how to fix it?

1. Check for boost leaks (pressurize the sytem)

2. get a logger and tune the car.

hey has anyone had a problem with lag when installin a maf translator and leaving all the settings at zero, i could have sworn i spooled better before i installed my blow-thru setup.
