yea its an esi but ive seen a couple of other cars with the lifted hoods and always been a fan, just extra washers so can always go back to stock.

so the hood is on purpose? take the jdm honda garbage off of it (you're better than that) and has the rim been curb checked? other than that very cool, also dig the 5.7 GOAT. .

no the wheels arent curb damaged in the 1st pic i actually still have the tape on the lip of the wheels from painting them. but damn no1 likes the raised hood, u guys must forgive me im new to the dsm crowd

You must have a Lot of Honda's around your area. Lifted hoods on Honda's are usually so the swapped motor will fit. No need for it on a DSM, makes your car look crashed.

Yea i've seen maybe two 2g talons here but yea hondas are every where. But ive had the car for only a 3 week period so plenty more time to work on.

It resembles the color on my Eclipse. The color is Cayenne Red Pearl if I'm not mistaken.

It creates sort of a cowl induction look without an actual cowl hood. A bunch of ###s have been doing as of late.

I think the yellow tape crape needs to go. How old are you anyways? That shocker symbol would have been funny or cool when I was 17. But I dont know many 17 year olds with 2 cars, much less 2 that look that nice on the outside.

The hood thing has been used to get a little extra cooling on the cheap. And probably copied by a lot of other people just for the look. Doubt you need it, but do whatever you like, not like it's hard to change it back.

Take the sticker off your rear bumper (took some looking for me to even see it) and fix your front bumper so you can take that tape off of it. I'm at a loss as to what the engine decal means... maybe "Disregard the CEL while driving this vehicle".

Otherwise, you have a very clean looking Talon. Please don't do the Eclipse conversion, or anything that will severely change the appearance. One of, if not the top rule around here is: NO BODY KITS for 2Gb Talons, and the only ones allowed for other years/models are ones that actually offer a performance advantage. As far as I know, there are only two of those.

Don't let that drive you off by any means, there are still plenty of things you can spend money on if you're so inclined. Or just drive it and enjoy it. Happy motoring!

i think people will do what they want with their car, regardless if its "allowed" here or not
