new to the dsm world have allwas wanted on but have had outher progects in the way.
I just picked up a 1991 tsi auto
190000 suposily it was rebuild 50000 miles ago block looks clean so ya maybe going to do a conprestion test to see

My plans for the car are 450 hp or more relibel i no every one say they cant be but im going to make it that way

one ? is how much hp will the auto hold up stock

Good luck with a old/tired Auto tranny. If you think you MUST be at 450, then make sure you set aside money to buy/build a built auto tranny. Before you start digging into things do a compression test and post back what you find out.

i found a tranny rebuild kit on here for like 450
i have never built a trans axel befor lots of rwd ones. my car dose not build any boost under a launch it builds to like 2000 rpm but no boost you know what it could be. IM thinking tc

he means use the brakes to put a load on the engine and it should boost like normal.

no under stand do that like launch at the track in my v8 s10 i under stand

but still nothing they guy befor me had the blue wire mod done and then took it of so i wounder if tq converter is not locking up
also conprestion test is

it looks like all be rebuilding the car
