i just had slowboy build me a brand new longblock. stage 2 block stage 5 head.
i just got done hooking all the electrical back up and all misc stuff. i got it to start fo 5 seconds. its killing my battery very fast, i tried jumping it w/ my truck 13.2 volts coming out of that battery, wont start, i put my truck battery in it and about 4 tries, killed the truck battery

when it ran, it started smoking from possibly the starter or something in that area

does any body have any ideas on what i can try?

maybe its a small thing i left out thats causing this? any suggestions will help

Make sure your not grounding out your alternator or starter.

Be more detailed and organized with the problem

If you put a fresh battery in and turn it over what happens. Does it attempt to turn over at all? Give steps and details so we can help your diagnose the issue properly.

when i put the fresh battery in it, it did turn over. while its turning over, light dim all the way out then come back then dim out etc.

yes everything works when car is on acc im gonna start checking grounds thanks alot jon
