ok i have a new 2.3 6bolt in my car now and i am having a few problems. as i went down the road one time and pushed the gas nothing happend the rpms stayed the same. every once in a while it will back fire. i have searched every where if a boost leak will cause this but i havent found out yet. i have a boost leak at the bov befor the gm maf but i am not sure if this would cause a problem since the air hasent been metered yet. if your wondering why the problem hasent been fixed yet it is cause the section of pipe is aluminum and i have no way to weld on it and the pipe is messed up. it will be fixed soon
so i think maby it could be fuel filter cloged, fuel injectors dirty
old gas maby 5 months old with about 3 gallons of new
or some thing else i am running out of ideas here
if someone could help me out

. Check the throttle cable that it doesn't have too much slack. With the car off step on the throttle and have a friend make sure the TB opens all the way. Had this happen to mine and spent weeks figuring it out. If it doesn't open all the way make adjustments and you're good to go
