So, now it seems to only be problematic above ~2250rpm... it starts 'ok' and idles fine. But as soon as it starts getting into the 2200-2500rpm range it starts bogging out and sputtering.
Dont know if its relevant... but when 'power braking' (i dont do it for fun, did it simply to see if it would stumble 'at rest') after letting of the gas, the car will damn near drop dead. Itll make it back, but it shuts off and restarts more or less.
Put on a new battery and new terminals the other day, which seemed to resolve the issue for a while. Also, my plugs are pretty black, I cleaned them off the other day, too, to see if there was any difference... after the battery and terminal replacement and 'cleaning' the spark plugs it seemed to run great for a few days.

i would just get new plugs, and wires to eliminate the chance of it being those!! ya know?? and if its still stumbles...try a boost leak test, try a compression test, leak down test and see what you get! try a new coil pack maybe it could be a number of things just gotta eliminate them one at a time :thumb:

What kind of plugs were they? These turbocharged cars should only run copper which is stock or iridium. If they're platinum then they'll get dirty very quickly. My car was doing the same thing. Not completely dying but backfiring a lot. I switched out the spark plugs and that fixed it.

Plug wire guts had fallen out.
Though, Ill be getting those NGKs... as my currents are bullshit Autolite platinums...
Thanks, all!
