montreal,
OK so im gonna be purchasing a new clutch for my 2g,ill be getting the 2100 clutch kit and streetlite flywheel. I just wanted to know since im gonna be getting a new clutch kit is there anything else i can buy(that i might need) since the tranny will be out?

on the extremepsi site they say "When upgrading to any clutch, these extention rod are a must need due to the stock one not being able to disengage fully" is that true do you really need one?

Most aftermarket clutches do require the longer slave cylinder rod. The 2100 clutch is one of the few that don't require this upgrade. Anything over the 2100 like the 2600 will require this mod to fully disengage. Your 2100 should be ok without the new rod but it wouldn't hurt to get one anyways, as cheap as they are.

Ok thanks allot i guess im gonna get it since its only 25$

oem pivot ball. Check the condition of your clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder. It would be a great time to get a stainless steel clutch line. A stronger clutch can make mincemeat of older clutch master and slave cylinders. Do yourself a favor and buy a speed bleeder clutch valve. turns it into a one man job. For the 2100 you don't need a longer piston. Are you doing this work yourself or taking it to a shop?

This is what I would get:

-master and slave cylinders
-OEM throw out bearing and clip
-fork
-fulcrum ball
-SpeedBleeder (model number SB1010 - size M10 x 1.0 x 34.44)
-SS clutch line (just from hardline to slave - not full line)
-OEM flywheel bolts
-axle seals
-rear crank seal
-some loctite

I would not get the slave extension rod as it's just a band-aid fix. After you install the clutch, make sure it's adjusted correctly and you should not have a problem.
