New Build, need suggestions

Hey guys,

So I havent been active much on the forums in terms of posting mostly reading and trying to solve my own issues (which I have so Thank you!).

Im currently looking at doing a new build to the motor, and new turbo set up and wanted to get some ideas from you guys so im on the right track and what i could expect.

Engine: as built by Graveyard.
Shortblock built with flange bearing, Evo X pistons, Franensteing X rods with ARP.
STD/STD Polished crack- non cut.
85.5 mm Bore (0.20 over 4g63)

Head- Also by Graveyard.
Loaded with Valves springs ETC.
Bronze Mag Valve guides precision honed.
272 cams
97-99 cam sensor
Adjustable Gears by AEM -Black
Valve over sized 1.0 mm

MAP 38mm External wastegate 02 housing.stainless steel

16g "Big" turbo.

As in my profile I have a V2 ECMlink in the car and will be upgrading to the V3 before this build. Current cost is 4800 with core charges, so lets not try and break 5k with other options (roughly 1k to spend). My profile has a complete list of known parts on the car.

I will try and get a current 3rd gear pull for you guys to look over and help me keep her running strong till I can order everything in Jan with my tax return. Thank you again for all the help and furture help Im sure you guys will give me.

Why are you rebuilding the motor? Whats wrong with your current one?

I dont have any experience with them but if I was going to build a motor and spend that money, I would want someone to make me aware of the companies reviews. Im not bashing anyone, just an fyi.

wow thanks for the heads up. As to what is wrong with the motor in the car nothing I can tell, I think I have Ghost knock, but as I said I need to do a pull and log it and post it here so you guys can check it out make sure my tune is solid and go from there.

the one issue that comes to mind is when im under heavy boost i feel the clutch pedal actually pull down to the floor (as if I was pressing it) never could figure out why it was doing it, I replaced the slave when it when up and replaced the the line from the slave to what appears to be a pressure valve or can not really sure.

I would do a compression check, look for boost leaks/etc before just rebuilding. Def data log... Might be something simple.

Can any of those really cause the clutch pedal to pull like that?
