Needs help on building a 10 second talon

Why do you keep posting pics of that ricey, powder blue 1g? Those lame-ass lambo doors will definately help. BTW, I'm one of those negative guys that knows you aren't ever gonna run 10's.

10s is a great goal to have, but as stated before have you ever ridden in a 11 sec dsm?? I still need a 4-bolt rear for my car, and figure out what engine management I want to run, but I am sure I can pull 11 sec passes in my car. I will tell you that I have ridden in a GVR4 that ran 11.9 on street tires (nitto 450s) with a 50 shot of spray, and T3/T4 @ 30 psi and it was pretty fast. Another thing to consider is that 10s mean 10.99 which is a big difference between 10.01.

Anyway, to try to help you out a bit with this...

--WEIGHT REDUCTION makes a BBBIIGG difference in you times.
--Remember that a 10sec car is NOT very streetable no matter what you think. You barely push on the gas, and you have 15 psi.
--TIRES: Don't think you can pull some sick 60fts with just good street tires, you'll need Drag radials....then your tranny needs to be seriously built, a 4-bolt rear is a MUST, and you need to know how to launch that bad boy or stuff WILL break. Shoot, it will break no matter what honestly.

Oh man that thing is priceless. A horribly kitted 1g. With HEAVY ass lambo doors. And the best part is they got the kit but didnt bother putting matching wheels on it or even cleaning the massive break dust off them before they took the pic. You wanna see a sexy 1g?

Ok this has to end. You will not run tens in THAT car. Since you seem to knwo so much and you have been around cars can you tell me if Lambo doors are NHRA legal? Do you have shaved door handles?? You friends, or youself, that have all this great wisdom should have let you know that as soon as you get to a track and tech you will fail because of shaved door handles. I am not sure about the Labmo doors, but I am guess they are illegal also.

Get a clue.

Also, I have NEVER seen a riced out car run anything faster than a mid 13.
