Probably a dead thread and I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask but I'm having similar problems. Poor gas mileage and the worst problem is my car runs lean until it reaches full boost. It also hesitates. It's really hard to explain but I will. Say I'm at a dead stop. My aem wideband reads around 13 or 14. Stay parked too long it starts jumping from rich to - - -. Back and forth. Then I put it in first start moving and smash the gas! It get roughly up to 3k rpm and it starts to jump and hesitate reading 16 or 17 on the aem. Then boom full boost and it stays at 14.2 until I shift. Then second same story. I suppose you should know what I'm running.

^^ You need to start a new thread and post a log! Your problem sounds all on your tune. Being that lean at wot is a really bad idea. Needs to be like 10-11 range when wot. Stop going wot till you figure this out bro. Your going to end up melting somthing! Do you even have a afpr?

Im still a probationary member and yes i have an aeromotive afpr, im unsure of the model. ill post in another thread though

you can post in the newbie section for now, search as much as possible, and eliminate all of the obvious.
exh leaks, blt, maintenance stuff, etc. if youve done them, do them again to be extra sure.

it does sound like youve got a massive dead spot in fuel. what does it do if you accelerate normally?

Track your VE table while you are driving then richen up those cells. I have had a off idle lean condition, so bad in some spots that the car will burp or backfire under very very light load. I had my son (thanks son!) watch my VE table and when the car was too lean I just had him adjust the table (bump UP the number in that/those cells)on the fly and save to ECU just last night. We made a lot of progress and it drives soooo much better now. WOT is fine still. I am no pro tuner but I do understand link pretty well and if my 17 yr old can do it I would say you can too (but he's pretty dam good!). To me it sounds like it is in your tune also. You can't hurt it and can always revert back to a previous VE table from any other saved log so play with it, just don't get it to LEAN!!!. I can say that now I have a little bit of RICH knock but I plan on playing more today to tune that out for a happy medium. I am on E85 BTW.

Thanks guys I really appreciate the input! I've been slowly fixing things on the car and have been busy! I'll try to post a log tomorrow

I've figured it out everyone! It was a very bad ground for my fuel pump
