Car sputtering// need assistance

Hey Guy.
So i get in my car today and i'm off, everything seems the OK I drive slow until the car warms up then i punched it. The car starts to sputter or misfire i guess. So I decide to change the plugs. I'm unable to get the plugs out, even tried with the engine warm. So hear is my noobie question, do spark plug sockets come in different sizes because mine doesn't seem to reach the nut on the spark plug. (I know dumb ass noob)

All the sockets i've ever seen are the same depth. Are you sure it's the right size? You said you can't get the plugs out and then you said you can't get the socket on. Which is it?
