Jus got a 97 talon w/ 118,000 mi base model, whoever had it made some minor upgrades cold air, disk brakes gauges, but its a fun car, I replaced timing belt water pump and balancer, (I do a timing belt and water pump on all 4 bangers around 100k) I'm not real familiar with theese engines, and wondering what I cuold do to increase horsepower, (realible horsepower) I'm thinking a turbo? But I've never worked on a turbo on a gas moter? Let alone a 4cly what all is in involved? I.e. wiring harnes swapps fuel curve? Computer, timing? And there are a lot of turbos for theese cars and wich ones are worth it. ???????????

Most will tell you to sell your car and get a gst or GSX, but if you feel ambishes and determined and with the right amount of cash you can do it!! They make a Hahn kit, star kit, or build you own ( cheapest way to go ) they have for the 420a you can get Megasquirt or Hahn portfueler ( sure there more ) for fuel and tuning.

Hahn Racecraft is pretty reputable in the dsm area, but ya search is key on here, any questions just search and I'm sure it's been covered here!

Here's a place to start - http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/art...uild-420a-stage-2-turbo-kit-under-1000-a.html

And this is a list of everything that comes in the Hahn stage 2 kit if you want to piece together! - http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/art...turbosystem-components-installation-pics.html

I would agree with most when they say ditch the 420a chrysler power plant and get a gsx. But if you want to keep it. The only power you will see that is substantial would be a turbo upgrade. Is it worth it? I dont feel so. You would spend all that money to keep the car at 6-8lbs of boost. Most likely you will not be utalizing the turbo's full potential on such little boost. At this point i would just honestly consider selling it and buying a gsx. If you do decide to keep it and want to spend the money hahn racecraft makes a turbo upgrade for this i believe
