need some help

hello every my names robert live in fallon nevada . i bought a 90 eagle talon tsi from a friend who melted two valves, have no idea how. so i tear into the car replace valves valve guide seals and reinstalled head, the car is stock except for hollowed out bottom of mass air and crushed blow off valve(buddie said more bost), my problem is some times the car stars to stumble and when it does for about a day or tow it randomly troughs out smoke form the exhaust blueish withe can really smell burning oil, theres no oil at all in the intercooler lines so im kinda lost what this could be any help would be much appreciated

Have you done a leakdown test? How did everything look when ou had the head off? Did you replace the other valve stem seals or just the two that needed replacing?

i havent done a leak down its seems to hold boost till about 5000 rpms, but sure i need to my buddie was sapposta do it but his stuff brooke on him, everything looked fine replaced all the valve guide seals and check the rest of the valves

Does the turbo have any shaft play. Could be coming from the exhaust side.

no end play tight like new the wierd thing is it start kinda missing before it starts smoking

You getting any cel while this is occurring ?

no i dont get a cel light it didnt even come on with a dead o2 sensor, my damn fuel trim was 199% at idle and still no cel , not sure why but the light does work

so got another question about the car, like i said it has a 7 bolt and its a 90 so how can i tell what year the motor is so i can stop worrying about crank walk if there is a way to tell

so figure out the smoking and the stumble, the smoke is an oil leak from the valve cover leaking onto the manifold which was loss , and the stumble is low compression in cylinder 4
