Okay....I am in the progress of doing a complete 6 bolt swap. I was planning to do just a 6 bolt bottom, but went ahead and did a full swap with all new internals in the block and head. Now not thinking about it, when i got the head I paid no attention to the intake manifold bolts and sold my 2g head.. So my question is can I just go use Depot/Lowes/ACE bolts that will fit the thread and length, or do I need the studs that go on the outside holes of the intake manifold too. If so I am just going to use this site that I find and go get the bolts that I need. If not then can someone let me know where I can find some...I have checked extremepsi and slowboy...they usually have these odd parts but not this time :|

Then my next question is the bolts that they list here the same that will go into a 1g head?? Even though they say a 2g? If not can someone give me the bolt/stud dimensions that I will need for a 1g...

You got to love a winter project turning into a year project ;)

Yea I have really learned that this has become a trial and error thing...just sucks because I hope in the end its not an error...Like last night I was exrtremely worried while sticking in the pistons, and when the crank was becoming harder to turn I was like something is right...but then today I went and turned it and with a socket it doesnt take hardly any energy....But yea that is what i went to go do was grab the ones out of my 2g head for the intake and I was like crap I sold it

Oh yea I did use the assembly lube specially between the rod bearing and the crankshaft. The crank was already installed when I got the engine. but all in all I think it went pretty smooth and good...but really won't find out until it is all together and started... Hey thanks for that link snowborder714...that was exactly what I was looking for was a place with that all together...I swear we should all have a Home Depot/Lowes decal sticker on there because I lost count of all the trips here and there. but thanks again guys..

Oh one more note...any recommendation on timing belts I was just going to get one from extremepsi since I am getting a few more timing parts (new auto tensioner, pulleys, etc) from them.....but between OEM, Gates, HKS, Greddy, or Power

Also...thank god for baggies and permanent marker LOL....my garage looks like a kitchen with all of the baggies laying around.
