how do you hook up a tack in a 1st gen. eclipse... i know that red is positive power, black is ground, white is the inner lights when head lights on, and green is neggative side of ignition coil... But this car i different the old muscle cars. Can some one help me PLEASE...

is the green the negative side of coil or is the red one the negative side of coil???

Dont think of it that way.You don't hook it up to the coil. I hooked mine up to the white wire on the power transistor which is under the coil bolted to the engine block. It is right up against the backside of the timing cover. It has like 5 or 7 wires. One is white. Just splice it in and go. If the tach doesnt read right try programming your tach to work on 2 cylinders. I didnt have to on mine but not all tachs are created equal. By the way I have a sunpro 5" tach with external shift light. Hope this helps and keep us posted. Travis

so the white one wires to the white one on the block, im confused of what each color goes where?...but that was very helpful...i have the luner series, with external shift light...

Why are you hooking this up to a 1g N/T?

I know the 1g turbos have the tach signal on pin 109 (stated above). I imagine it would be the same for the N/T.
