For some reason my 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T is loping pretty bad. And sounds like crap when its running. Currently the cams are set as 3 1/2 ticks advance exhaust, 1 tick advance intake. What is the recommended timing? Thank you! :dsm:

Also current cams in the vehicle is HKS 264 intake / 272 exhaust cams.

It was like that when i bought the car. Then i zeroed them and then it started to lope bad. Then i put it back on that settings and it is still loping.
Also the car died while driving, then i just turned the car and it turned back on. Also to stop it from dieing i gave it gas and also the car idles like crap.
The bottom end of the car is shaking real bad.

I did i don't know what else to do. Also under the hood i hear a spark sound. Which sounds spark plug or fuel injectors related.

Just puzzled now

You'll need to go through the complete camshaft degreeing process to know exactly how much the cams need to be advanced or retarded. There are no universal settings.

It really sounds like you have engine issues unrelated to minor camshaft orientation. Do a compression test and verify that your cylinders are actually sealing.

Also, fill out your profile so that we can see what you're working with,

Ok i updated my profile. Also i was curious what does RW2949 mean on my Block casting?
