Ok well The question im trying to get answered is that I have a 1993 Eagle Talon Tsi. Now thats a 7bolt block, does it have a 7b head or a 2g Intake manifold? I just want to know what parts on that Engine are 1g parts and what parts are 2g parts.

As far as I know the Block is a 7bolt, the head is a 7b?, the pistons are for a 2g? the Intake manifold is for a 1g the TB and elbow are 1g, and the exhaust manifold is for a 1g. So pretty much I have a 2g motor with 1g everything else? 93-94 shit is so stupid.

No no no... 93-94 is when they changed to the 7 bolt crank... The pistons are still 7.8:1 and the rods are still the same. The crank just changed.. same 1g head same, 1g intake manifold..

The 2g starting is 95 they bumped the compression to 8.5:1 and and then revised the head and intake manifold...

Ok so I should get the 2g Head then? I heard those have better air flow, and keep the 1g Intake Mani and TB, and put a HAFE Manifold on it? Just trying to get the most out of the Stock DSM Parts that there are.
