I'm looking for some 18s, I want them in a style similar to the factory 16" 5 spokes that came on the spyders... but I would like to find them in bronze/gold... R-1 makes the style, but I dont think they make them in bronze.... and there is no where around here at all that does powder coating....anyone know where I can find the style I want in bronze?...

Enkei RP01.. dunno if they come in bronze yet..

No need to get up tight - 5Zigen FN-01R wheels, which look a great deal like the 16" stockers, come in 17 and 18" and also bronze. Here's a link to MachV, who carries them although I'm sure you can get better prices at wheelmax.

Good luck!

i'm just aggrivated...the rims I've found are about $130 a rim before tires.... but I dont know if they make them in bronze..because in the pic it looks too dark... like the pic andy posted... they look really dark..maybe it's just the pic?...

No, that is the color. They wouldnt have such a dark pic if they were trying to sell their product. They'd have the pic as accurate as possible. That is a dark bronze. Chances are you'll have to get them painted, so find some cheap ass knock offs and then paint them the exact color you want.

I do plenty of photography on the side and can tell you that those images seem dark because of the lighting they're using and also because they haven't color corrected when scanning. Let me see if I can hunt up some better pictures so you can get a better idea.

Well, here we go. Try these and remember that this is the identical wheel in the identical finish as the one I posted above. Proper lighting makes all the difference in the world.

Andy

P.S. I share your frustration when it comes to finding something that you really want. I've been hunting for a while and it gets to be a pain.

They actually do look like the second pic in ambient light and they get some beautiful tones in bright sunlight which makes them look more gold than bronze. 5Zigen's aren't cheap, but having seen these wheels in person, they really are beautiful.

Good luck!

Andy

These are similar in style, but dont come in bronze- sexy in black though.
