Ok I am going to get some rims next month with my tax stimulus. Im going to a new place around here called Rimco, its like aarons. I dont have alot of money really so lease to own is about the best im going to get. I am having problems trying to decide on what rims to get style/color. I really wanted to get some gold/bronze rims but they arent an option there unfortunately. I am going to go thru ebay and see if i can find some good examples of what my options are and get eveyones feedback becuase i really dont know at this point. I have a bad imagination and am afraid it will look good in my head but like crap when i get them on the car. Also im torn between 17s or 18s. I dont want to go to big and have problems, but i would like this GIGANORMOUS wheel well filled up some. so here we go with the links

Gun metal w/ polished lip
eBay Motors: 17" MOTEGI DP6 GUNMETAL WHEELS RIMS RSX Eclipse Neon (item 330235920938 end time May-17-08 17:28:33 PDT)

Hyper black w/ polished
eBay Motors: 18 STERN WHEELS RIMS TIRES 5 LUG ECLIPSE CAMRY MAXIMA (item 110251534018 end time May-16-08 16:16:02 PDT)

This style and silver but in 17s
eBay Motors: 16 JDM WHEELS RIM ECLIPSE MAXIMA CAMRY ACCORD ALTIMA CL (item 130220527144 end time May-16-08 07:48:46 PDT)

ok ebay started to suck so i switched to tire rack
ASA AR1 Silver w/Machined Lip

eBay Motors: 17 ADR WHEELS RIM TIRES 5 LUG ECLIPSE TALON CELICA NEON (item 110251458467 end time May-19-08 10:56:39 PDT)

Basically my decision has come down to gun metal, hyper black or silver(im totally against gloss black or white, just not my taste). all either with or without a polished lip/dish, and 17s or 18s. Thanks for all the feedback in advanced

that was one thought i had. there is a guy around here that will do them pretty cheap and they come out looking really good. my roomates dad did the rims on his monte carlo and i like them. I guess maybe i just need to start diving thru all the pics i can find and see if i run across something that i just love.

I do have to say that i like the 2nd link the most i think. They are very similar to ones i was looking at last night in person, but gun metal with a polished lip/dish on a white car?

although gsx wheels powder coated gold or bronze would probably be sexy...If i could get more people to look at this thread i would ask if anybody has a pic of that or ever seen it done

Lease to own rims? Please just save up enough money to buy a set.

Lease to own rims sounds really ghetto.

How much does it end up costing at the end when bought this way?

well cash an carry was 800 if i recall right and it was like 100 bucks for 12 months, that also includes mounting balancing locking lugs, lifetime flat repair and rotating and balancing. I have seen two other places around there that are like 100 bucks a week...soo its not that bad of an idea, and i would like to have them now not 8 months from now when i can save that much..Im not like alot of people on here that live at home with my parents or have extremely successful careers with their dsm as a play toy. Mines a DD and I get by on what I got and barely most of the time. I just needed some opinions on looks not the method of purchase. I know my own finances and habits and I have thought this threw for a couple months and this is my best option unfortunately. Thanks for the input though

check out the MSR style 90s, medium sized strait 6 spokes are nice:thumb:

Well if you wanna know what a gunmetal looks close to the dp6 on a white car. Here is a pic of our laser. Hope this helps.

Thanks for some help guys...I am really feeling the STERNS too...its a pretty sexy wheel..Im still deciding between silver or gun metal but the polished lip/dish is staying for sure...I am leaning towards silver most and once i get them paid off i may just powder coat them gold/bronze like i really want

I see you like the Motegi DP6s.. you should search DP10s as well.. The DP10s come in hyperblack.. I see you dont like gloss black. They are about as cheap as the other motegis.
