I've noticed there are types of silicone hoses..

Straight
Hump
90 bend

I just want to piece together ic piping so would the straight silicone be cool? What's the purpose of hump hoses?

It always for flexibility For example. The IC is mounted and does not move. The Engine torques back and forth. So you need something that can flex. Otherwise, your piping ends up getting banged up and you increase the risk of popping off a coupler.

The hump hose allows for some flex in the piping so you don't blow pipes off when the engine flexes. You should put at least one in each series of pipes. For the rest, straight or bends will be fine.

Oh ok, kinda like the downpipe, needs some flex...

Thanks, they're expensive. 16 bucks for one.

What if I have one piece piping from ic to tb? Where would I put the hump hose?
