I currently run the NEX Coilovers that I bought off a friend used for 150$.

They are downright terrible and it's like riding a go-ped over gravel . This is my daily driver, If I do race, its on the street. I'm more of the person to having a more comfortable/nicer looking ride than performance. Thats my last concern but I still want a suspension to be able to handle going down the drag strip from time to time at my track if I want to do so. Any suggestions? Budget isn't really that big of a deal but I also dont want to spend 6-700$. I guess im looking for the best combo that can handle the speed but still won't be so stiff that when I go over bumps/potholes that it will shake the whole car and interior like the NEX's do. Thanks!

Why dont you just get some lowering springs and adjustable shocks. That way when you want a stock feeling smooth ride, you can just turn it to that, and when you want to do a little racing turn to race settings.

Alot of people go with the eibach pro springs and tokico illuminas.

I'm not gonna touch the street racing thing,
But the cheapest you can go without hating life is Illuminas + Prokits. And even then..it's a fine line.

I'd love the completeness of a full coilover setup, but if I had the resources, Koni Sports + GC would be awesome too.

I dont see the point in coilovers unless your actually racing in some series. Why spend all that money just to be able to adjust the height of your car.
