 ok i know ebay turbo kits are not worth shhh but if i got a full kit and replaced the turbo with like a turbonetics or garret will that make a difference or just a waste of time and money

Ebay is notorious for selling knock off cheap things for well....cheap. For the most part intercooler piping, manifold, o2 housing and stuff like that is usually ok. But when you mix in rotating parts with cheap materials and an unsafe bearing system then you have a bomb waiting to go off. I'm in the process of a turbo swap myself and I used a few minor parts off ebay but i promise you that youll wanna go real. MHI turbos are great for the price and Holsets are becoming more and more popular.

The only advice I can give you is DON'T DO IT

i agree. don't bother with an ebay turbo kit. if you want a good turbo kit either piece it together yourself or get a kit. the cheapest i have found (kit-wise) was this one...
AdvancedJDMParts.com - Performance Parts and Accessories - MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE 95 96 97 98 99 420A JDM SPORT COMPLETE BOLT ON TURBO KIT

Cast iron manifold (so you know it won't crack on you) better than stainless steel
the actual turbo tho is a JDM T3/T4 turbo that looking at the reviews arent very good past 8psi...
but honestly with a stock 420a 8psi is more than fine (Hahn runs 9psi) but before going any higher you will def want to look into building up your block with new pistons and rods and everything else too.

with the ebay stuff, you have to know what to look out for. but my advice would be to not use the ebay turbo. an intercooler kit, exhaust and some of the easier things are decent on ebay(not 12 second 1/4 mile decent) and good enough to throw on but i would only buy a turbo made by a trusted company. you could try cxracing.com if you want, they are based out of the US and they make good entry level turbo related parts but they aren't as good as holset, garret or a good old mhi turbo.
