My wheels are coming in soon and I still have the rear drums and I am concerned about the looks. I have already seen the drums and they are rusted to sh1t so I will probably get some new ones. Anyways if anyone has any photos of their wheels/drum combo please post or if there are none avaliable please take one so I can see how it looks, thanks

try the gallery. i think ive seen a pic with what you want. on a side note, since you are worried about looks, i think you should consider the gst rear brake upgrade for your car so that you have discs all around. ill be doing it whenever i have extra money to get rims. not only does it look good, but it aids in your braking so it is worth it. just something to look into:dsm:

Give me a price quote when you do it, I had a somewhat unprofessional pesimistic estimate of 800 dollars. I can get brakes from the junkyard, how much do you think the install would go for?

i had a friend that was gonna hook me up with the pieces for 200 but i know that a fair price for everything would probably be 500 max. the install price all depends on if you install it yourself or take it to someone:dsm:

I painted my rear drums flat black so they would not stick out. I'm running 17 inch GSX wheels. They look acceptable for being drums and in comparison to people that paint the drums silver, red, blue or whatever.... my opinion is that the flat black is much better looking.

Can you post a pic for me, Doug? Thanks

Here's one from a few feet away. I can get closer if ya want but I'll have go you and snap some close ups.

I have a 95 GS (four wheel disc), but I can sympathize with the nasty rusted look. I re-did my calipers and rotor hubs as well as the wheel wells and suspension pieces in flat black and it looks like a new car from underneath and also through my wheels.

I say break out the paint and have at it!
