N/T Engine ready for turbo?

Here is the engine, just want to see if anyone thinks of any reason i should not turbo it.
turbo 4g63 6 bolt block with oil jets
bored .20" over
.20 over 9.0.1 ross forged pistons
1g big 6 bolt conecting rods
clevite tri-metal main & rod bearings
new oil filter housing
ballance shafts eliminated
4g67 42cc 1g big port head (actual compression 10.0.1)
4g67 high lift factory cams
new water pump
new timing belt
Unorthadox racing aluminum underdrive crank pulley
cold air intake
SS Header 4-2-1
2.5" mendrel bent cat-back exhaust with test pipe
turbo coil pack & igniter
75mm throttle body
ported 1g intake manifold
evo 9 mass air sencor
Eprom computer with a custom chip (has 3500 studder box, no lift to shift, mas compensation, 13.0 air fuel ratio, 26 deg timing tunned wth wideband)
 
There should be no reason you can't boost any 4g63. On 10.0:1 compression though you won't be able to run very much boost. Especially on pump gas. With methanol injection it would definitely help. You won't be able to get near 26* of timing out of it. Other than that everything looks fine internal wise. I would get rid of the underdrive pulley though. Unless it was balanced with the rotating assembly it will cause unnecessary engine harmonics. Use an OEM balancer.
 
that is an impressive setup. i just wanted to input by asking you if you've ever thought about going towards the n/a route. since you dont necessarily need to go turbo to reach high horsepower goals with the 4g63. just a thought....:hmm:
 
Can i use a different cylinder head to get a more desirable ratio? The engine will be DD as a non turbo for a while. Then hopefully a piece of my Talon AWD spyder. I currently own 2 AWD and am looking for a Spyder. The engine above is in a DD eclipse GS. Just trying to decide which engine i want to put in the spyder.

That crank pulley zero gram balanced which is substantially better balanced than the factory crank pulley. Please stick to the facts and stop perpetuating an urban myth.

Urban myth? I had to ditch mine because the bolt holes weren't centered and the machine shop wouldn't balance it because it was moving up and down.
 
LOL same here, along with squealing, flopping up and down because it wasnt machined correctly, more squealing, made abnormal vibrations, and did i say more squealing?? But that was a DOA pretty much, i got another one couple days later, it's perfect.
