My GSC S2 cams, GSC 5040 springs/retainers, eurosport valve spring compressor and jay timing belt tool kit showed up today. Also have new OEM t-belt, tensioner and pulleys. I decided on the S2 cams over the s1 so if I ever upgrade to a larger turbo my cams would not hold me back. And also I have read about many evo guys that run s2 cams with great gains mid/top

i would gladly pay you half of what you paid, around tax season for that WHOLE setup, today...LOL.

Haha, as great as that deal sounds im going to have to pass![DOUBLEPOST=1413591240][/DOUBLEPOST]Well I got the cams, springs and timing belt components all installed. The valve springs took the longest, the eurosport spring tool works great but it still is tedious, and I dont have an air compressor so I used the "rope" method of holding my valves up.[DOUBLEPOST=1413591386][/DOUBLEPOST]And here is before and after logs, at 25-26 psi.

I actually have this exact kit, just haven't used it yet. You bolt it up to the head and slide it down to each valve you're working on. So you only bolt the assembly up once for the intake side then once for the exhaust side. Plus it has the valve seal installer/remover tools as well. I was intrigued by the tool jafro used in his videos and this was closest thing I could find to it.

I'll be using it shortly, my oem 1g head is still shrink wrapped in its mitsu packaging. I'll be upgrading all the seals to new ones and the exhaust to viton, might upgrade the springs as well. So I'll takes some pics/review the kit while I do it.

OP...how does it pull with the S2 cams? Did you notice any loss of low end torque?

I gained about 3-5 lbs min airflow at the same boost as the stock cams, from 5k rpm on up. I have tuned them in much better now compared to my logs posted above and do not have much loss of low end, and also tuned back most of the spool I lost. It also pulls all they way through redline, where stock cams went flat at 6k.

Crap guys, I just opened mine up to look at it, and I have more tools than the one in that link. Mine looks more like this one:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Valve-Spring-Compressor-on-Engine-Cylinder-Head-Remover-Installer-OHV-OHC-Pro/371177072836?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid=222007&algo=SIC.MBE&ao=1&asc=27538&meid=fdee914a367a40ef9e2041cb048f0780&pid=100005&prg=11353&rk=3&rkt=6&sd=181019691697&rt=nc

Mine has a sticker on the front that says "121077 Professional Cylinder Head Service Set"

I have no idea what half the crap here is for. There's a tube that looks like what you'd use for compression testing, but that may be for compressing air into the cylinder so the valve doesn't fall in ? I'll have to watch some vids...

I have a similar piston tool too, that I haven't used yet of course. The "Stark 25151 Piston Ring Service Set"
like this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/ENGINE-PIST...Parts_Accessories&hash=item540a409bbb&vxp=mtr
