Hi guys, :D

I've stalked the forums ever since my 91 GS back when in 2004 but RIP the blue stalion that could. Anyways... my friends dad has had a red 1990 GSX sitting in a trailer for a good 2 1/2 years ROFL, and it seemed about right to get it off his hands for 600:hellyeah:. From when I saw it running over 3 years ago, it had some work on it like the lovely 3' n1 exhaust (sings "...how sweet the sound...:rocks:") and some internal. I'd have to go through it when it's out.

Hopefully i'll get it out of the trailer sometime this week so I can work on putting it back together this weekend and having it up and running soon.

The first items on my list are 550cc injectors, ecmLinkv3, and the 2g MAF. This is ofcourse after the basics on getting this car up and running healthy, but since it's not too far away, it wouldnt hurt to get some help understanding how to connect the 2g MAF on the 90:confused::confused:.

Check the "intake" section of this website for help w/ the 2g MAF. The cheapest (and best fitting) route as far as intake pipe is to get the stock 2g snorkel pipe, attach it to your turbo, and get the adapter from dejon to attach the 1g K&N filter to the 2g MAF. You also have to make or buy an adapter for the wiring harness. Search for "2g maf adapter" on ebay for that, or look at the VFAQ for how to build it.

yea, I was looking at the VFAQ at the adapter and it just left me stumped... I'm pretty fried right now from work though, we had one of three routers at the NAP have IBGP issues and whatnot... I dont wanna think right now LOL. I'll check out the adapter on ebay, that would save me so much time and headaches, glad to hear from a 90's DSM driver :D

The 1g Apexi N1 certainly isn't 3 feet in diameter :p, and unfortunately it's no where near 3" either...

You're. Right It also never occured to me you can fabricate a 3 inch exhaust and use the n1 muffler, god forbid anyone do that... LOL
