My idea for a custom intake.

So Ive come to realize that paying 90 bucks for an intake pipe is rediculous.
I found this mandrel bend for 18 bucks. Its seems like its got the right bend in it only it dosent have the BOV port.

Couldnt I just drill a 1 inch hole and jb weld a little pipe for the BOV hose?

I dont see why it wouldnt work

Just go to a machine shop and have them TIG weld it on there for a clean professional look

JB weld should work on the intake since it's not pressurized like the IC pipes. However, personally, I think it's a "hack". I would get it welded at a machine shop or get the vibrant piece.

I once made one of these for a 2g with PVC piping and used PVC glue to make a bov return tube. I just painted it all black and it actually turned out fairly decent.

The intake for my Holset is 4in PVC painted plack LOL.. I could find the guts to spend over 100 bucks on an intake.
