Well this is my first log in my new 91 GSX. The guy before me had this tuned pretty well. Now I am going at it. Check my profile for mods. Boost is set at 17 psi. I did 2 logs and this was the first.

My AFC II settings are TH settings 20%,80%
HI is zeroed out across the board
LO is RPM= %
800= +1
1000=+3
2200= 0
3400=+2
4000=+3
4400=+1
4800= 0
5200= 0
5400= 0
6000= 0
6400= 0
6600= 0

Now through the entire 3rd gear pull my FTRL 139.8%, FTRM139.8%, FTRH113.2%, FT02 100%. I know that your supposed to tune for 100% on FTRL and FTRH, right?
Any comments or help is needed so that I know where I need to adjust.

First off I would set your AFC's th. points differently. I would start at 1000, and increase 600rpm increments until you reach 7600. THey will be more properly spaced for tuning this way.

Next, using the HI throttle setting on the AFC, I would make your AFC settings as follows:

2800: +2
3400: +5
4000: +7
4600: +9
5200: +11
5800: +12
6400: +13
7000: +13
7600: +13

Remember, your optimal O2 should be about .89, and you are tuning for 0 knock. I have never tuned a 1g before, so I am not sure what your timing should really be doing. Good luck.

thanks man, I'll give it another shot and see what happens.

Aaarghhhhhhh!!!! :mad: :mad: You CANNOT use your stock O2 sensor voltage to determine how "rich" or "lean" your car's running! :rolleyes: Use a wideband and your advance timing is too friggin high. OMG

Hell, you didn't even show us your airflow, IPW/IDC values etc - both of which are more important than the stock O2 sensor voltage output you posted. :|

those look like some awfully rich settings for 650s :confused: im just getting started with tuning mine, i have similar mods... AFCII, 650s, evo316g.... i was reading around, and it seems like -18 across the board is a good place to start... allthough im having some issues, i have low 02 readings.... but have around 20 deg of timing through WOT... i just started with this the other day, so when/if i figure things out ill post up... im still learning myself, so i could be way off :thumb:

I know that it is rich, hell, I can smell a slight hint of fuel in the car. would it just be easier to turn up the boost to off set the air/fuel? :confused: then it may run a little leaner in boost?
