My CD player has no bass when I play CD, but slams when i have the radio on

OK well title says enough basically. I have an Eclipse 3434 Head Unit. For the first 2 months it was amazing, so much clearer than my Sony was. Anyways, last week it started acting up. When I play a CD, it has hardly no bass at all from my subwoofer, theres a little but not much at all like normal, at first I thought my amp or sub was blown. but I decided to listen to the radio, I cranked that up a little and bass started slamming. So to sum it up, I have little to no bass when I play a CD and normal bass when I have the radio on. Can ANYBODY help me as to what the problem is? I don't think its any of the settings, or the remote wire because it plays fine on the radio. Any help is appreciated...thanks.

a ouple of the radios i have owned had different settings for the radio and cd. Has your battery been disconnected?? that counle do it and return the settings back to normal. Other then that i don't know what to tell you besides play with your equalizer. Good luck

Yea but I don't remember playing with any settings at all....the dude i bought it from tried playin w/ it cuz he supposedly knew all the settings/features but couldn't fix it. My battery was replaced about 2 months ago, not anytime recently when this started.

you have your remote hooked up to wrong wire

since sub works with radio...probably hooked it up to the antena wire instead of remote

Aftermarket eclipse unit?I have a fully motorized eclipse head unit.I have to set the bass and subwoofer settings for every source.Like cd,radio,aux.Might try that. Also try what bing said to.

No but why would it work for the last 2 months, and then all the sudden not work? I haven't removed it or anything since its been installed.?

When you go through the bass treble and mid..go all the way 2 the end you should have a sub volume..And it is adjustable for every source..Pm me or email me at [email protected] Ill talk you through it
