Really good to know. This guide makes it seem that the box would end up buring through the carpet or some crap like that.

As long as it's in something like this I don't think heat will be an issue. And I like keeping mine in the car so if for whatever reason it would get too hot I can reach down and unplug it. If it's under the car and catches on fire there wouldn't be much I could do to get to it, haha.
