Had to show off my work LOL.. made it with interchangeable nipple so you can use bike pump or plug into any type of fitting you want to mount with a simple unscrew.

It held 30 no problem.. im sure it can go higher.. can also plumbers tape the threads if you wanted.. but i had no need
Really that held 30psi with hose clamps and a non fiber reinforced coupler!?!

Before i went to tbolts i would blow a coupler at 15psi never failed and i bought a used fmic kit with no couplers so i went to home depot (first turbo car) and thoughta coupler was a coupler man was i wrong i blew a hole through them several times then bought real couplers the one time i was lucky enough to have some duct tape to wrap the home depot racing coupler or i would have been stranded i couldnt keep it idling on side of the express way LOL

I definitely would NOT use this as a permanent coupler. Turbo cars should have silicone ply. With this one it is a super snug fit over the turbo lip and i tightened the 8mm strap tight on the cap end.. there is also a rubber lip in the middle of the coupler that the cap sits snug against. I also JB weld sealed it in the lip and on the valve stem attachment I made.. Who knows the longevity of the thing but it worked ok.. Ill be using it again on a buddies car tomorrow. The only weak point in this would be the rubber coupler down the road I think.

you can see the design of the coupler here.. its not horrible... http://www.supplyhouse.com/Fernco-1...vzsYcEq_MdihPdCkAeE0TdpZYhC_KC66nFBoChLLw_wcB

Yeah i would use tbolts and a regular coupler at some point it scared the sh** out of me the time i did a BLT with only hose clamps and i went to pull the pump off and thing shot off the compressor housing like a damn cannon i swear i was close to losing my hand LOL

did you just try to unclamp it with pressure in? I have a relase valve in my line to let pressure out before i disconnect

you got a diy instructions with this? just curious where you placed the release valve, and how you got the valve stem in...

Release valve is just in the air line i use.. turn of the knob and pressure releases... for the valve stem i just drilled a whole in the 3/4inch threade plug, pulled it through and jb welsed the inside seam.
