My 1998 GSX build

We started in 2001 with a magenta grey pearl 1998 GSX. took 10 years and 33k. built it to 421hp with a T3 super 60 on DSM link V2.5. after 300 miles i wrecked it. totaled the whole car. 6 months later found this purple beast down the road for sale with a blown motor. tore apart the wrecked car and started swapping parts. we then decided to go V3 with S/D and a whole new turbo setup. Contacted my buddy dave of XSBoost in ohio and acquired us a newly built HX35 . bolted it to a new punishment mani with dual wastegates. motor was pulled 7 times for new changes. its a fully built motor with all ARP and CAD kit installed. so now with the car were 52K and 3 more years into this build. here she is now. sorry about the dust. she needs a bath......oh and yes those are evo brembos, yes thats a custom carbon fiber shift boot and yes thats a carbon fiber trunk lid with a carbon fiber 2G spoiler . dont ask why it took so long...work, military retirement and family.

Engine:

Block bored .020, JE 8.5:1 pistons, eagle rods, lightened/balanced/knife edged crank, all internal bolts are ARP, CAD kit, MLS head gasket, custom I/C, custom piping, Fidanza cam gears, clear gear cover, punishment mani, HX35 turbo, K&N filter with 4" intake, custom exhaust with thermal cat back, aluminum radiator with thin fans, samco hoses, aluminum catch cans, custom 3500 pound clutch, custom 12 pound fly wheel, stainless clutch line, bearings on shifter cables, non cruise throttle cable, bored 62mm throttle body, DSM link V3 with S/D, Earls oil cooler with An fittings and stainless lines, Evo 5 oil pump, all aluminum pulleys, all smog and A/C removed.

suspension:

Megan coil overs, galant knuckles, Evo 9 brembo brakes with stainless lines, new front links, ball joints etc.

Interior:

B&M short shifter with symborski kit, AEM carbon boost guage, AEM wideband O2, custom carbon fiber shift boot, custom shift ball, carbon fiber guage pod, new black carpet, custom strut tower brace, small battery kit in trunk.

wheels:

Tenzo cuzco version 1 with some el cheapo sunny tires just to roll on.
