So I had my car running and I got back home turned it off and heard like some squeak when it was cutting off I start it again to check if it did it again and it wouldn't start this time first it crank but the cams rewinded, I couldn't see shit so the next morning I went to check it out again and it wouldn't crank I tried jumping it but it made all my dash lights go off and now when I try to crank it my radio turns off the fans turn off too, my headlights won't turn on and my dahs dims badly. Anybody know what could be the problem? I'm kinda new to dsms

If you have a ohm's meter reader check your battery. Turn dial to 12volt on meter reader put positive to positive negative to negative on battery post. With the car not running your battery should read 12.0 to 12.5 or so mine reads 12.3. With car running should read 13.0 or little higher mine reads 13.7. If you don't have a meter reader remove your battery an take it to any auto parts store they can check it out there. Not following you in cam gears rewinding. The squeak you heard could have been a loose alternator belt though. Hope this helps you. Good luck.

First check your battery volts. Your car will not start or crank with a battery under 11 volts under its own power. As long as there's no other problems, your starter will click like normal, but it won't crank. If you don't have enough volts in the battery when attempting to crank the car, any lights on such as dash lights, headlights, and your radio will dim or shut off. That's normal. The squeak you mentioned is odd. Do you have more info on that? With the info you've provided so far, I wouldn't worry about the MPI relay. That won't cause electrical power failure.

Not following you in cam gears rewinding.

Agreed on this, please elaberate...
