Ok, i'm driving around town, and yea i do run it quite a bit, but am i supposed to get like 15 miles to the gallon?

check the vfaq page for the needle adjustment... it should fix the problem... if you're lazy like me, then just put the needle higher when the tank is full... but you'll be driving on the fuel fill light thing for a long time...

I just bought a 92 T Automatic and it got 35 MPG on the return trip from Wisconsin. :) 70 and above all the way. With even a few spirited runs into the trips. You know digits.

I just wanted to know EXACTLY when I was out of gas and I was bored so I figured why not fix it.

Hooking up the resistor takes all of 5 min(easy) then follow the directions on DSM.org. The only thing I recommend is that once you run out of gas and you reset the fuel gauge to E, put the gallon of gas in and run it out of gas again and see if it went back down to where you set it. JUST REMEMBER TO GET MORE GAS!!! I reset mine and tried this, I thought my gas would be empty once it was below E, I ran out of gas BEFORE it was on E. I lessened the resistance to much. If you aren't completely out of gas and you want to try this you can get pretty close. It is REALLY easy to adjust the gauge in the area where there is no gas (say you are 1/2 empty, the needle is very sensitive from F to 1/2) then once you get some resistance (you start adjusting the resistor and it doesn't move as much) you know your getting into the area where the actual gas level is. IT IS V-E-R-Y EASY TO DO THIS MOD :) and well worth the time. Once you get into it you'll see what I mean. Any question let me know.

WOW, ALOT OF DIFFERENT STORIES HERE, SEEMS LIKE HALF OF US (ME INCLUDED) GET SHYTE FOR MILAGE AND THE OTHER HALF ARE GETTING 36 MILES ON THE HIGH WAY (YOU BASTARDS)

WONDER WHY IT VARIES SO MUCH?

oops, just noticed the caps was on and I am too lazy LOL

I get 14-17 on the street with free mods, and 17-20 on the high way's at the very best under 75, no stops, or up hills or nuthin. Gas milage is the suxxor..
