Right now my only mods are k&n filter and a mbc i am currently running 15psi and i know my stock fuel system can only run 16psi so i was wondering what other mods are necessary for me to run more than 16psi on the 14b and how efficient is the 14b..what i mean is whats the most psi i can run on the 14b effectively...thanks

injectors, pump, and tunning device to be on the safe side. You also may want an intercooler. You 1g stock BOV should hold a few more psi just fine.

First off, keep the boost down around 14psi till you get a logger. Second, you are going to need a tuning device(afc, dsmlink, etc.), 550 injectors, 190lph pump, small frontmount or supra sidemount, turbo back exhaust. I'de say you could run that setup to ~21 psi, although its going to lose boost and power above 5500 rpms. Get a logger and find out:)

p.s. I am saying 21 psi, because the 14b is not very efficient above 18psi. It just turns into a hairdryer on steriods because it cant move that much volume/pressure of air through its little opening/wheel.

forgot to mention i do have a datalogger and im not getting any knock signal at 14-15psi in any gear

if you start upping the boost on anything more than a cold night with more than one run per 3-4 mins, you will deff start logging knock

Someone can correct me if i'm wrong but isn't the stock head gasket only good for about 17 or 18 psi. That will be something else if you want try the 21psi stated above.

you wont come close to maxing out a 190lph on a 14b and you also wont need a afpr. Our engines, when healthy, can hold 23-24psi on the stock gasket and head bolts though. Some people have pushed them near 30psi. In short, make sure you have a good tune and a healthy engine and you can push it to around 23psi without really worrying about anything.

I ran 28psi on an PTE 50 trim for a long time with some ARP's on a stock headgasket. Other than that I ran 23psi DD with a stock headgasket and bolts with a ported and clipped big16g as well. Also I would just go with 550's and a 190lph so you don't have to upgrade your FPR.
