Has anyone seen a molded interior in a 1g eclipse befor? I'm debating on giving it a try.. maybe making my own custom dash or somthin... not to sure tho.. I was thinking of going all out and gettin a complete autometer nexus setup, for the center dash peice, also put the turbo timer and boost controler there.. i'm most likely going to keep the stock gage cluster alltho an autometer nexus speedo and tach would be nice, anyone else have some idea's or pointers they can give me ?

iv been planning a some what custom interior for my 93 tsi, so far all it is plans and drawings and FINALLY some molds waiting to be test fit in the car. Lack of time because of work and other projects has been pushing been pushing this off for a long time. Now that I have finally moved the other cars and car junk out of the garage, i now have the space to work on this stuff again.
Im keeping the stock gauge cluster, but changing the center console area. everything from the area of the hvac area to the center console will be re done to hold gauges, switches, safc and other small junk. the hvac controls will then be moved to another undecided location.

good luck with your project

that's exactly what i wanted to do, center console area first just for gauges n crap, but yesterday i decided to take an old duel gauge pod and cut it appart heh.. well then decided to some how mix it into the door panel.. well i cut n fit it and it looks awsome because my ralliart seats sit lower than the stock seats it's at perfect eye view when looking at your side mirror, i didn't mold it in yet just simply test fit.. it looks good with 1 but i'm not to sure about 2 maybe put 1 on the pass side too..? anyway good luck with ur project too :thumb: :dsm:

I want to do a new interior in my car... can anyone share drawings or pics for ideas... I did away with my rear seats... I have two red Sparco Rev's and Clubman 4PT harnesses. This will be a track car... so no need for radio or AC... and I would like to do away with my Cluster as it doesnt work anyway.

PLEASE PLEASE... IDEAS...

If its a race car, what kind of interior work are you looking at doing? Any custom glassing will start adding weight. You could redo the gauge area though and install all aftermarket gauges, that would be kind of cool.

Well I just don't like the idea of having so much exposed metal... plus I would be driving the car to the track.. So if the car is all stripped out it will attract to much heat from the cops. I want to disguise it a bit.

You can always start with a new cluster....

This is obviously not a cluster for either gens but you get the idea (for the cluster anyway).
