Mitsubishi Evo brembos 5-9 fitment. These are from an 8. When i built these a few years ago i modified them for racing and decided to upgrade the pistons to racingbrakes stainless pistons. These offer a much better heat resistance to fluid boil and offer cooling passages between the pad and piston. These pistons wont corrode, crack or seize in the caliper! I also installed their racing blue high temp dust seals while i was at it. These are ideal for the ultimate stock caliper/racing package. You wont melt or dry up these seals easily! (Note *** Do not get any brake fluid on these seals as they will fail) thats their only weakness brakefluid!!!
Recently rebuilt with new caliper bolts and VHT caliper paint! The paint will last many more years over powder coating and not turn pink or brown. The paint is not going to win any shows and is not perfect (can was running low) but the calipers are designed and built to help win races. I never had an issue for years with this exact same paint.
All ports have been cleaned and re greased to ensure nothing rusts or seizes is.
The cross over pipes were custom made and are copper nickel and wont corrode. The bleed nipples are all stainless steel.
The calipers DO come with the pins and pad retainers, they are not shown in the picture, the pins have been modified to use a stainless R clip in the end to stop the pins from falling out on their own.
