So ive done all the maintenance on my car including timing belt, new pulleys, fixed oil leaks, new brakes, new Spec Stage 3 Racing Clutch, New Master and Slave Cylinder, New tires, Changed all fluids including transmission, and had a mechanic check for any other problems. Im ready to start modifications. I have a 1G BOV, Turbo timer, and have ordered UICP for my BOV. I also have ordered a intake filter and intake pipe. What should i do next.....All help is appreciated

You should post what your goals are for the car. Is this going to be a street car strip car? And the biggest factor is how much money you are trying to spend on it. You should be more detailed because some people can sit here and tell you how to build a complete track car but that may not fit your goals or money situation.

You don't have to do those exactly in that order. I would recommend a boost gauge as one of your first item's to monitor and make sure you don't have a boost leak you don't know about or are having issue's holding boost. Then follow the list. Some stuff can be done out of order but it is pretty straight forward on what to do as far as mods go. Also free mods are always a good thing...

Make sure you do it in this order too, to avoid any mistakes made by newbies. Not meaning to side step the post above, but too many newbies decide to get things like a turbo first, then wonder why it doesn't work right, after not having done the proper preparation for such a mod. Thats just my .02 worth.

Well my friend has a 350Z....hes rich and spoiled...parents got it for him. So i want to beat him. Id say my goal for a quarter mile is high 13's. I was just wondering what the best way to get there would be. Also this is offsubject but if i do the wastegate solenoid restrictor mod how much hp am i gonna get?

It's funny because Im in the same boat as you except my friend has a 05 Roush Mustand GT so I need to get in the low 13's. The wastegate solenoid restrictor mod isn't going to give you a definative horsepower answer. It isnt as easy as Xpsi = Xhp. It will increase your boost level but on a t25 its not really worth it because of the efficiency range of the turbo. Your in a good position because you can do basic upgrades (exhaust, downpipe, bov) and reach your goal. John

1. Clean out your intercooler when the UICP comes in and youre ready to install it.

2. Replace your fuel filter if you havent done so... lot of people seem to forget about it...and try to get ahold of a Walbro 190...or a 255 with a AFPR, depending on how big a turbo upgrade in the future, and if you have the money. Since you already have a clutch..you should be prepared to do some serious modding.

3. Opt for a pocketlogger or DSMlink somewhere in that upgrade list.
