k well i have mmcd with the palm logger an here are the readings

all i get at idle is....
TIMA....10
KNOCK.....0
O2-F......2.50
and rpms ofcourse.

now im trying to tune my maft and i dont get knock at all. i repalced the knock sensor about 8 months ago because the CEL was on because of it and now its fixed BUT it wont read any now...(if i have any)

now i wasnt able to take the car for an actual spin becasue in dont have plates for it and afraid to get pulled over and car impounded but i did take it around the block

other think is that i dont get any other readings besides this 4 things. to my understanding i need to know my fuel trims right? to tune with the maft. my FTRL, FTRM, FTRH, FTO2 say nothing, theyre blank. would be nice if i can know my oil pressure but that i can just fix with a oil guage.

anyways my logger cable that goes to my plug on the car i bought it, its nothin that i wired or anything. bought the kit with the logger and the palm with the cable for 90 bucks ROFL good deal:hellyeah: so it not like i mised a wire or anything. so if u can think of anything please let me know, thanks guys.:thumb:

You have to select what you want to monitor by clicking on it. Stuff that is not highlighted will not be read. Also play around with the preferences, mmcd's defaults are for the 3000gt.

(At least I can see the full kit works... bought just the cable to hook to laptop except serial connection no workee :banghead:)

oooohhh ok got it LOL and ya i got the whole thing at egay and it woks great. thanks man ^^:thumb::hellyeah:

Don't take the titles verbatum, they don't always mean what they sound like.

IE you have the wrong O2 selected

Knock shouldn't show up unless you have knock, I.E are at WOT... and if it's tuned conservatively it will have little if any.

The fuel trims are only useful for tuning cruising trims, WOT should be done with a wideband and knock logging. It can be done with a stock O2 but not very well, and that's not something a newbie should try...
