last time i ran a metal head gasket i didnt get the surfaces re done and it over heated ever day. im putting in a used stage 2 slowboy long block and dont want to have to get it all resurfaced but want to put down 500 hp so which head gasket to go with? as far as non metal im looking into getting, i currently run a stock felpro with which feels like 400 hp for the last 2 years and never blew one out, with arps if that helps. would it still hold 500 hp?

You guys think i should use a stock gasket with some ARP's. I will probally be running around 400 HP when i put the engine back together, so hopefully a feelpro can hold as good for me as it did for you. Thanks. :thumb:

Run the stock headgasket if you did not have both the head and block surfaces amchine flat. The stock headgasket can handle all sorts of power with ARP head studs tourqed to spec.
