Just started my brother's car today after it sitting for almost a year. The timing is zeroed out, new plugs and wires. Went to take it around the block and it run fine up until about 3k then starts misfiring and jerking. Also it seems like there isn't any throttle response at all, press the gas and not much happens speed wise or RPM wise.

I'm sure the gas is old and crappy too, but I was wondering if anyone else has had ever had this problem??

I would first try a boostleak test and see where that gets you. With the information supplied, my best guess would be a boost leak.
