Misfire please help!

Okay so today i went to arco gas station and put 25 bucks in the tank of premium 91. I already had about an eigth of a tank. By the time i drove about 15 miles, my engine started to idle weird. My air fuel says its running rich and it spits water out the exhaust. It has a weird little misfire thing going on but its not 100% of the time. I put some octane booster in and it hasnt done anything yet. It just threw a p0301 code and im getting concerned. my buddies at work tell me that i shouldnt use arco gas because it is watered down. It adds up, but im just getting the dsm tuners opinion because you guys always have the right idea. They said arco just started using a winter brew. Should i just drive off this tank and put chevron in it and clear the code? I need help. Please and thank you. Btw i dont know if this helps, but when i rev the engine, the exhaust pops a little.

well your buddies are correct. arco gas is dirt cheap garbage gas. its not good to mix gas when it comes to chevron vs ampm gas. now your best bet is to run it till its empty. the misfire happens mostly with spark. check your spark plugs gap, your coil pack, injectors too. dont worry it wont blow your motor. change the spark plugs and gap at .028 when you change the gas. from now on if you use pump gas only use chevron. nothing else cuts it. thats chevron 91 pump. not 89 or 87. its a stock car so dont worry bout it much. too rich is alwase better than too lean. exhaust popping is dude to misfiring because of the octane booster. remember run it till its empty than put some nice chevron 91 gas in it and do a spark plug change and i gurantee you the miss fire will go away. if not change the coil pack. good luck and keep us posted.

Hey it worked! Well the crappy gas messed up my plugs so i got new gas and changed the plugs with some nice ones and it runs amazing like it did before! Thank you.
