Ever since I bought the car only the left tail light worked. (Lamp, Brake light, and turn signal) But the right one did not work. Me and a buddy tried fixing it but all we could do was rig it. and still not every bulb is on. I don't have turn signals but the illusion that my tail lights work is sorta there except for the 1 bulb that only works as when I hit the brakes. I got pulled over already for the 1 bulb not being on at night. but it goes on when i hit the brakes. So i don't want to take the risk because I bailed out on my state ref and I don't want to het pulled over and get the state ref ticket again.

Have you checked all the fuse's and this probably sounds dumb but did you check your radio harness for the illumination wire shorting out to something?

*knock* I am, I'm not driving crazy at all. Out city hired more newbie cops so either 1.i'll get pulled over by a dumb newbie or 2. The newbie will be afraid to pull me over.
Also did that TPS sensor work?

I've checked all fuses, traces all wires (for any pinched, cut or exposed) obviously changed the bulbs. And the illumination wire is fine. I have a hunch on what it might be so I'm going to pick n pull tomorrow to get me some parts.

It maybe you turn signal switch/stalk. When they go bad they do funky things. I pulled off the freeway one time and signaled a left turn and I un-signaled it and it was still blinking. Checked tuners out for this problem and found out it could be the turn signal switch, replaced it and it works again.
