me vs. the new 350z.....

Ok so Im crusiing in traffic my girlfriend is behind me and we are heading out for lunch. All the sudden I see a 350z speed up fast on her bumper and slow down, I see him down shift slide a little missing her by about a few inches and take off. Me being pissed dropped it to third at about 60mph and take off like he is standing still. Ok I thought he stopped racing so I slowed down he got beside me and revved and we both took off in 3rd around 50-65mph he takes off and I chirp his door is at my front bumper and I catch traction and take off like crazy...again like he is standing still. So we pull up to the next light and he outright asks me if its fwd or awd, I said fwd. He said so thats why you took off so hard on the top. He said he had a dsm before awd , and said he ran his z at the track and ran 13.9 so that made me feel really good about my car... Nice race and a very nice guy.

my gf loves 350z's so i can only dream of this happening to me cause i hate them. good story. and yes priorities, gotta show your car is faster first then bi*** him out for almost hitting your gf

.....funny this post is up here...I ran a new 350z just two nights ago. It was a cat and mouse race as the Z driver decided to initiate by tailgating me. He then came around me moving over two lanes to the right to pass. So, I decided, WTF! No matter what he did, I would just pull right up to his back bumper, 3rd gear, 4th gear ....pulled even better against him as the speeds got higher. Here's the kicker....My Laser is bone stock except for K&N and no air silencer! Stock boost! The 350z is cool and all, but, no thanks. Now I know these cars are no contest for the Talon....even with blowers installed. I was actually surprised at how weak the 350z was on the top. What a joke

yeah I guess thats why I pulled on him like he hit the brakes...if he would have hit my gf then it would have been a problem but she didnt even notice(woman drivers....). Either way Im happy...
