This may be a dumb question but I don't have an engine bay to look at to figure this out. How many feet of vacuum hose will I need to install a MBC?

Less than 3' total.
J-pipe/turbo/IC pipe nipple-> vac line -> MBC -> vac line -> wastegate actuator nipple.
The less vacuum line you have, the better.
it depends also on where you want to mount it. make sure you have enough vaccum line to make it a clean install.

...use the smallest dia hose you can fit...
