My setup is pretty simple so far ( check profile ) but I was pondering how much boost can I run on a 6-bolt MAFT & DSMchip

with RC1000cc injectors and an 18g??? 25psi max? or maybe more?WTF I am also on a stock set of cams. only other reason I'm asking is my fiance is getting me RC1000's, as a present. I'm just afraid that the rings will give out.... my compression is 150psi across all cylinders +/-2psi

1000cc WTF This is a 4 cylinder not a rotary. That is WAY overkill for even a 60-1 let alone a 18g. Get a set of 660's or maybe even 750's. With 660's you could put down 25psi all day with the proper tuning equipment. Rings will be fine. 150psi is good for a 1g. Cams are fine too.

The size of the injector you need is directly related to the amount of air your turbo flows, im not sure but the 18g i would guess flows around 40-45lbs/min. 650's-680's would be just right for your setup.

Maft/dsmchip will do the job fine tuning may be hard to accomplish without an safc or switching to DSMLink. Get a new chip programmed for your larger injector size. If you don't have a pocketlogger get one.

Ofcoarse DSMLink is the best option. I've never tuned anything without DSMLink but I imagine it would be quite a PITA tuning it without being able to see how much knock your getting.
